01

Using this website

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Bozeman SEO website. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

The website provides general information about SEO services. It is not a promise that any particular service is available or suitable for your business.

02

Services and project agreements

Paid services begin only when Bozeman SEO and the client agree to a proposal, statement of work, order, or other written engagement. That agreement will describe the scope, schedule, fees, and deliverables.

If a project agreement conflicts with these terms, the project agreement controls for that engagement.

03

Client responsibilities

Clients must provide timely access, accurate information, approvals, and materials reasonably needed for the work. Clients remain responsible for their business decisions, website claims, legal compliance, and the accuracy of content they approve.

Delays in access, feedback, or approvals may change the schedule and may require a revised scope or fee.

04

Search results and third party platforms

SEO work depends on search engines, website platforms, hosting providers, analytics tools, and other services that Bozeman SEO does not control. Those providers may change their products, policies, algorithms, or availability at any time.

Your use of a third party service is also governed by that provider's terms and privacy practices.

05

Fees and payment

Fees, payment dates, expenses, and any cancellation terms are stated in the applicable project agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, invoices are due when stated and work may pause while an invoice is overdue.

06

Ownership and permitted use

Clients retain ownership of materials they provide. After full payment, the client owns the final deliverables identified as client owned in the project agreement.

Bozeman SEO retains ownership of its preexisting tools, templates, methods, processes, know how, and general skills. If any of those are included in a deliverable, the client receives a permanent, nonexclusive license to use them as part of that deliverable.

07

Confidentiality

Each party will use the other party's confidential information only for the engagement and will take reasonable steps to protect it. This duty does not cover information that is public through no fault of the receiving party, already known without restriction, or lawfully received from another source.

A party may disclose confidential information when required by law after giving notice when legally permitted.

08

No guarantee of search results

Bozeman SEO will perform agreed services with reasonable professional care. Search rankings, traffic, leads, sales, and revenue depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee a particular ranking, traffic level, lead volume, or business result.

Recommendations reflect the information and platform conditions available when the work is performed. Search conditions can change.

09

Disclaimers and limits

The website is provided as available for general information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bozeman SEO disclaims implied warranties relating to website use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. Bozeman SEO total liability arising from a paid engagement will not exceed the fees the client paid for that engagement during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10

Governing law and ending an engagement

An engagement may be ended as stated in the project agreement. If the agreement is silent, either party may end it by written notice. The client must pay for work performed and approved expenses through the end date.

Montana law governs these terms, without regard to conflict of law rules. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve a dispute informally for thirty days. Any court proceeding must be brought in the state or federal courts serving Gallatin County, Montana.

We may update these terms by posting a revised version. Questions may be sent to hello@bozemanseo.com.
